Amazon product data API and price monitoring across marketplaces

Get Amazon products, reviews and best sellers, eBay sold prices, and AliExpress, Shopee, TikTok Shop and Marketplace listings as JSON. Pay per result.

You sell online, build a repricing or sourcing tool, or research a category, and you need product data you can refresh on demand: today's price, the seller, the sales rank, and what the same item sold for last month. Lovely Router returns it from Amazon, eBay, AliExpress, Shopee, TikTok Shop and Facebook Marketplace as JSON, billed per product or listing from a prepaid balance. Use it as an e-commerce price tracking API from a cron job, your backend or an AI agent, with one API key.

Hand it to your AI agent

Copy this prompt into Claude Code, Cursor, Codex or any coding agent. It tells the agent where the docs are and how to use your API key.

Pull product, price, review and best-seller data from Amazon, eBay (including sold prices), AliExpress, Shopee, TikTok Shop and Facebook Marketplace. Use the Lovely Router data tools: each returns JSON and is billed per result.

- Docs (read first): https://lovelyrouter.com/docs/tools/find.md and https://lovelyrouter.com/docs/tools/run.md
- Plan first: POST https://lovelyrouter.com/v1/tools/suggest with `{"task": "<my task in plain words>"}` (free). It returns the tools to run in order, each with an example `input`, the `input_required` fields, an estimated cost and a ready-made `run` request. Replace the example values with my task's; if a field is unclear, read the tool with GET https://lovelyrouter.com/v1/tools/<id>. To browse instead, POST https://lovelyrouter.com/v1/tools/discover searches the catalog.
- Show me the plan and its estimated cost (`total_est_cost_usd`) before running anything large.
- Run: POST https://lovelyrouter.com/v1/tools/<id>/run with `{"input": {...}, "max_results": N}`. A 200 has the finished run with `items`; a 202 means it is still running, so poll the `poll` path until `status` is `succeeded`, `failed`, `timed_out` or `stopped`.
- Only delivered results are billed. Keep max_results small on the first run, check the output, then scale up.
- If you support MCP, connect https://lovelyrouter.com/mcp instead (Streamable HTTP, same key; https://lovelyrouter.com/docs/tools/mcp.md) and use suggest_tools, get_tool and run_tool.
- Auth: read my API key from the LOVELY_API_KEY environment variable and send it as `Authorization: Bearer $LOVELY_API_KEY`. Never print or commit the key. If it is not set, ask me to create one at https://lovelyrouter.com/app/keys.
- Billing is prepaid: every call is charged to my balance, so test with a small request before running anything large.
- Every docs page is plain Markdown; the full index is https://lovelyrouter.com/llms.txt.

My task: <the products, keywords or ASINs, the marketplaces and countries, and what to track>

How it works

010203
  1. List what you track

    ASINs or Amazon product URLs, a best-seller category URL, eBay keywords, Shopee or TikTok Shop product links, a Marketplace search URL.

  2. Run the tool with a cap

    Send the input to POST /v1/tools/{id}/run with max_results. The run holds its maximum cost from your balance and returns the products as JSON.

  3. Store and compare

    Save each run's prices with a timestamp. Compare with the previous run to catch price changes, new sellers and rank moves.

02

Get Amazon product data with one request

Amazon product details takes ASINs or product URLs in Params. A bare ASIN is read from the Amazon site in website; a full URL always uses its own domain, so one run can cover several marketplaces:

curl https://lovelyrouter.com/v1/tools/amazon-product/run \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer $LOVELY_API_KEY" \
  -H "content-type: application/json" \
  -d '{
    "input": {
      "Params": ["B00091S3K4", "https://www.amazon.de/dp/B00091S3K4"],
      "website": "amazon.com",
      "zipCode": "10010"
    },
    "max_results": 2
  }'

Each product in items carries its price, rating, features, images, seller and rank. On amazon.com, deliverTo and zipCode set the delivery location, which changes the products, prices and availability Amazon shows, and currency asks Amazon to convert prices where it supports that. A run still going after 60 seconds returns 202; Run a tool shows how to poll.

Tip

The same ASIN can be a different product on a different Amazon country site. Pick the website your ASINs came from, or pass full product URLs.

Recipes

Daily price watch on your ASINs

Each morning, run amazon-product on your ASIN list from your own scheduler, in batches no larger than the tool's per-run maximum. Store price, seller and rank per ASIN, and alert when a price drops below your floor or a new seller appears.

Value used items from real sales

Run ebay-sold with "keywords": ["rtx 4080"], "daysToScrape": 30 and "itemCondition": "used" to see what the item actually sold for, then compare with today's asking prices from ebay-listings.

Scout a category

Pull amazon-bestsellers for a category URL, then amazon-reviews with one {"asin": "…", "domainCode": "com", "sortBy": "recent", "maxPages": 1} entry per top ASIN, and ask a model what buyers complain about. Those complaints are your product brief.

Check sourcing margins

Search the same product on aliexpress-products with "sortBy": "orders" and compare its price with what it sells for on Amazon and eBay.

Cover Southeast Asia and Latin America

shopee-products searches Shopee in Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia, the Philippines, Thailand, Vietnam, Taiwan, Brazil, Mexico, Colombia and Chile; sort by sales to see what moves. tiktok-shop-product reads TikTok Shop product pages in ten store countries.

Local resale prices

Pass a city search URL such as https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/nyc/search?query=bike to facebook-marketplace.

Prefer to ask in plain words? Connect the MCP server and tell Claude Code or Cursor: "Get the current price, seller and rank for the 30 ASINs in asins.txt on amazon.com, compare them with yesterday's prices in prices.csv, and list what changed. Set max_results on every run."

05

What you pay

You pay per result: a product, a review or a listing, plus a per-call fee on the tools that have one. Starting a run holds its maximum cost, the per-call fee plus the per-result fee times max_results, and the run settles to what it returned; the rest of the hold goes back to your balance. A run that fails or times out pays only for the results it delivered, and a run refused at the start costs nothing.

A daily check of 200 ASINs is billed as 200 product results a day. There's no subscription and no monthly minimum: top up from $5, and one balance pays for tools and models. The cards above show today's prices; pricing lists every tool.

Frequently asked questions

?
Can I monitor Amazon prices outside the US?+

Yes. The amazon-product tool, an Amazon product data API, reads 20 Amazon country sites, including amazon.de, amazon.co.uk, amazon.co.jp and amazon.com.br. Pick one in website for bare ASINs, or pass full product URLs, which always use their own domain.

How often can I check prices?+

As often as you start a run. Each check is a run billed per product, so schedule it from your own cron job or worker. Up to 10 runs can be in progress on your account at once.

Can I see what items actually sold for?+

Yes, on eBay. The ebay-sold tool returns sold listings from up to 90 days back with the sold price, shipping, condition and end date, which is what you need for valuation and resale pricing.

Are TikTok Shop prices converted to one currency?+

No. TikTok Shop prices are never converted, so each store's prices come in its own currency. The UK store hides price digits, and those rows say priceStatus=masked_by_storefront.

Can I get Amazon reviews as well as product details?+

Yes. The amazon-reviews tool returns stars, title, text, date and whether the purchase was verified. Reviews come in pages of 10, set with maxPages for each ASIN.

Do I need a subscription?+

No. You add credit to a prepaid balance and each run draws it down. Failed runs pay only for the results they delivered, and nothing renews automatically.
