Influencer search API for TikTok, Instagram and YouTube creator data
Find creators by topic on Instagram, TikTok and YouTube, then pull their followers, posts, reels and views as JSON, from your code or an agent. Pay per result.
You run influencer campaigns or build a creator-discovery product, and you need creator data you can sort: who posts about a topic, how big their audience is, and how their recent content performs. Lovely Router gives you that as data tools that work as an influencer discovery API. Search Instagram, TikTok and YouTube by keyword, then pull profiles, posts, reels, Shorts and X profiles as JSON, paid per result from the same key you use for models.
Hand it to your AI agent
Copy this prompt into Claude Code, Cursor, Codex or any coding agent. It tells the agent where the docs are and how to use your API key.
Find creators by topic on Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and X, then pull their followers, posts, reels and views. Use the Lovely Router data tools: each returns JSON and is billed per result.
- Docs (read first): https://lovelyrouter.com/docs/tools/find.md and https://lovelyrouter.com/docs/tools/run.md
- Plan first: POST https://lovelyrouter.com/v1/tools/suggest with `{"task": "<my task in plain words>"}` (free). It returns the tools to run in order, each with an example `input`, the `input_required` fields, an estimated cost and a ready-made `run` request. Replace the example values with my task's; if a field is unclear, read the tool with GET https://lovelyrouter.com/v1/tools/<id>. To browse instead, POST https://lovelyrouter.com/v1/tools/discover searches the catalog.
- Show me the plan and its estimated cost (`total_est_cost_usd`) before running anything large.
- Run: POST https://lovelyrouter.com/v1/tools/<id>/run with `{"input": {...}, "max_results": N}`. A 200 has the finished run with `items`; a 202 means it is still running, so poll the `poll` path until `status` is `succeeded`, `failed`, `timed_out` or `stopped`.
- Only delivered results are billed. Keep max_results small on the first run, check the output, then scale up.
- If you support MCP, connect https://lovelyrouter.com/mcp instead (Streamable HTTP, same key; https://lovelyrouter.com/docs/tools/mcp.md) and use suggest_tools, get_tool and run_tool.
- Auth: read my API key from the LOVELY_API_KEY environment variable and send it as `Authorization: Bearer $LOVELY_API_KEY`. Never print or commit the key. If it is not set, ask me to create one at https://lovelyrouter.com/app/keys.
- Billing is prepaid: every call is charged to my balance, so test with a small request before running anything large.
- Every docs page is plain Markdown; the full index is https://lovelyrouter.com/llms.txt.
My task: <the niche, the platforms, the follower range and what to compare>How it works
Find creators by topic
Search Instagram for profiles that match a keyword with Instagram search, or search videos for a keyword with TikTok search and YouTube search. Every video result names its author or channel.
Pull their numbers
Send the handles you found to the profile and content tools: bio and follower count, recent posts and reels, YouTube videos and Shorts, X profiles.
Score and shortlist
Compare likes, comments and views with follower counts in your own code, or hand the JSON to a model and ask for a ranked shortlist.
Search Instagram creators with one request
This run searches Instagram for accounts that match "coffee roaster" and returns at most 20:
curl https://lovelyrouter.com/v1/tools/instagram-search/run \
-H "Authorization: Bearer $LOVELY_API_KEY" \
-H "content-type: application/json" \
-d '{
"input": {"search": "coffee roaster", "searchType": "user", "searchLimit": 20},
"max_results": 20
}'The request waits up to 60 seconds. A finished run returns its status, its cost in charge_usd and the accounts in items. A longer run returns 202 and a poll path; Run a tool covers polling and paging.
Then look up the accounts you want to keep. Instagram profiles returns one result per username, with the bio, followers, posts count and recent posts. Leave out max_results and the cap is the length of your list:
curl https://lovelyrouter.com/v1/tools/instagram-profile/run \
-H "Authorization: Bearer $LOVELY_API_KEY" \
-H "content-type: application/json" \
-d '{"input": {"usernames": ["natgeo"]}}'The tools

| Tool | You send | Each result holds |

Each tool's page shows its full input schema and an example input. Field names in the results differ from tool to tool, so run a small search first and look at what comes back.
Recipes
Run tiktok-search with "keywords": ["home espresso"], "sortType": "MOST_LIKED", "dateRange": "LAST_THREE_MONTHS" and "location": "US". Group the videos by author, then run tiktok-profile on the authors who appear most often to see their follower counts and how often they post.
Run instagram-reels for each handle with until set to 90 days ago. Median views per reel next to the follower count from instagram-profile shows who still reaches their audience.
Run instagram-posts for the creators you worked with and set until to the campaign's start date, so only newer posts come back. Compare likes and comments on the sponsored posts with the rest.
With a creator's handles, run youtube-channel, youtube-shorts and x-profile to see where their audience is largest.
Instagram hashtag posts returns posts for a hashtag with each post's author, which gives you a list of handles to feed into instagram-profile.
Let an agent do the research
Connect the MCP server to Claude Code:
claude mcp add --transport http lovely-tools https://lovelyrouter.com/mcp \
--header "Authorization: Bearer $LOVELY_API_KEY"Then ask: "Find 15 TikTok creators in the US who posted about home espresso in the last three months. For each, get their follower count and the views on their last 10 videos, and give me a table sorted by median views. Set max_results on every run and tell me the estimated cost before you start."
What you pay
Every run is billed from your prepaid balance: a fee per result (a profile, a post, a reel, a video), plus a per-call fee on the tools that have one. When a run starts, its maximum cost, the per-call fee plus the per-result fee times max_results, is held from your balance. When it ends, you pay for the results it returned and the rest of the hold goes back. A run that fails or times out pays only for the results it delivered, and a run refused at the start costs nothing.
There is no subscription or monthly minimum. The cards above show today's prices, and pricing lists every tool. To keep a sweep cheap, search first, set max_results on every run, and fetch full profiles and posts only for the accounts you keep.
Frequently asked questions
Can I search Instagram for creators by keyword?+
Yes. Run instagram-search with searchType set to user and it returns profiles that match your keyword. Other search types return hashtags, places or trending reels.
Which numbers can I use to measure engagement?+
Follower counts come from the Instagram, TikTok and X profile tools, and Instagram posts also carry the owner's follower count. Likes, comments and views come with every post, reel and video, so you can compute engagement rate per creator in your own code.
Do I need an Instagram, TikTok or YouTube account?+
You need a Lovely Router API key and enough balance to cover the run. None of these tools asks for a login: you send handles, profile URLs or keywords.
How many creators can I check in one run?+
Profile tools return one result per handle in your list, up to the tool's own maximum per run, which its page shows. Split longer lists into several runs; up to 10 can be in progress at once.
Is creator data personal data?+
Profiles and posts of identifiable people can be personal data under privacy laws such as the GDPR. You are responsible for collecting and using it lawfully, and the Acceptable Use Policy sets out what the tools may not be used for, such as profiling people or contacting them in ways the law forbids.
Before you build an outreach list, read the Acceptable Use Policy. To track what people say about a brand rather than who says it, see social listening; for competitors' paid campaigns, see ad intelligence.
