Audit competitor Amazon listings:
features, images, seller and rank
Get full Amazon product pages by ASIN, with price, rating, features, images, seller and rank as JSON, to benchmark your listing against competitors.
Before you rewrite your own Amazon listing, you want to see what the top ones actually say: their bullet points, how many images they use, who sells them and where they rank. Opening those pages one at a time and pasting them into a sheet takes an afternoon. Lovely Router reads them for you. Send ASINs, get one JSON object per product, pay per product from a prepaid balance. Call it from a script, a listing review or an AI agent with one API key.
Hand it to your AI agent
Copy this prompt into Claude Code, Cursor, Codex or any coding agent. It tells the agent where the docs are and how to use your API key.
Audit competitor Amazon listings: features, images, seller and rank. Use the Lovely Router data tools: each returns JSON and is billed per result.
- Docs (read first): https://lovelyrouter.com/docs/tools/find.md and https://lovelyrouter.com/docs/tools/run.md
- Plan first: POST https://lovelyrouter.com/v1/tools/suggest with `{"task": "<my task in plain words>"}` (free). It returns the tools to run in order, each with an example `input`, the `input_required` fields, an estimated cost and a ready-made `run` request. Replace the example values with my task's; if a field is unclear, read the tool with GET https://lovelyrouter.com/v1/tools/<id>. To browse instead, POST https://lovelyrouter.com/v1/tools/discover searches the catalog.
- Show me the plan and its estimated cost (`total_est_cost_usd`) before running anything large.
- Run: POST https://lovelyrouter.com/v1/tools/<id>/run with `{"input": {...}, "max_results": N}`. A 200 has the finished run with `items`; a 202 means it is still running, so poll the `poll` path until `status` is `succeeded`, `failed`, `timed_out` or `stopped`.
- Only delivered results are billed. Keep max_results small on the first run, check the output, then scale up.
- If you support MCP, connect https://lovelyrouter.com/mcp instead (Streamable HTTP, same key; https://lovelyrouter.com/docs/tools/mcp.md) and use suggest_tools, get_tool and run_tool.
- Auth: read my API key from the LOVELY_API_KEY environment variable and send it as `Authorization: Bearer $LOVELY_API_KEY`. Never print or commit the key. If it is not set, ask me to create one at https://lovelyrouter.com/app/keys.
- Billing is prepaid: every call is charged to my balance, so test with a small request before running anything large.
- Every docs page is plain Markdown; the full index is https://lovelyrouter.com/llms.txt.
My task: <the inputs (links, keywords or accounts) and how many results you need>How it works
Collect the ASINs
List your own ASIN and the five to twenty competitors you want to compare against. Product page links work too.
Run the tool with a cap
Send them to
POST /v1/tools/amazon-product/runwithmax_results. The run holds its maximum cost from your balance and returns the products as JSON.Compare side by side
Line up features, images, rating and rank in a table, and mark what the leaders do that you do not.
Read competitor listings with one request
Amazon product details takes ASINs or product links in Params. A bare ASIN is read from the Amazon site in website; a full link uses its own domain. One run reads up to 50:
curl https://lovelyrouter.com/v1/tools/amazon-product/run \
-H "Authorization: Bearer $LOVELY_API_KEY" \
-H "content-type: application/json" \
-d '{
"input": {
"Params": [
"B00091S3K4"
],
"website": "amazon.com"
},
"max_results": 1
}'Set deliverTo, zipCode and currency when price and availability depend on where the buyer is. A run still going after 60 seconds returns 202; Run a tool shows how to poll.
What each product holds
| Field group | What you get |
|---|---|
| Identity | Title and ASIN |
| Price | Listed price |
| Quality | Rating |
| Content | Features and images |
| Seller | Who sells the product |
| Rank | Sales rank |
The same ASIN can be a different product on a different Amazon site, so set website to the site your ASINs came from.
Recipes
Pull the features of the top 10 ASINs in your niche and ask a model which claims they repeat and which are unique.
Check how many images the leaders use and which ones you are missing.
See which listings are sold by the brand itself and which by third-party sellers.
Pass the same ASIN with website set to different Amazon sites, or mix full links from several sites in one run, and compare price and rating.
Run your own ASIN and the top three each month and keep the results, so you can see how your listing moved against theirs.
Prefer plain words? Connect the MCP server and tell Claude Code or Cursor: "Read these 12 ASINs from asins.txt on amazon.com. Make a table of price, rating, seller and rank, and list the bullet points that appear in at least half of them. Set max_results to 12."
Pair it with search and reviews
A listing is one view. These tools add where it shows up and what buyers think:
Full Amazon product page by ASIN: price, rating, features, images, seller, rank.
Amazon Best Sellers for a category: rank, title, price, rating, ASIN.
Customer reviews for an Amazon ASIN: stars, title, text, date, verified purchase. Reviews come in pages of 10 (maxPages in the input).
amazon-bestsellersgives you the ASINs that lead a category.amazon-reviewsreads the reviews behind a rating.
For the wider market, see e-commerce intelligence.
What you pay
You pay per product: starting a run holds its maximum cost, the per-call fee plus the per-product fee times max_results, and the run settles to what it returned. The rest of the hold goes back to your balance. A run that fails or times out pays only for the products it delivered, and a run refused at the start costs nothing.
Auditing 30 listings is billed as 30 products. There is no subscription and no monthly minimum: top up from $5, and one balance pays for tools and models. The card above shows today's price; pricing lists every tool.
Frequently asked questions
Can I read ASINs from different Amazon sites in one run?+
Yes. A product link keeps its own domain, so mixing full links from several sites works. Bare ASINs are read from the site in website.
Which Amazon sites are supported for bare ASINs?+
The website field lists, among others, amazon.com, amazon.de, amazon.co.uk, amazon.ca, amazon.in, amazon.co.jp and amazon.es.
Can I see prices for another delivery country?+
Yes. deliverTo sets the country for Amazon.com, and zipCode and currency refine it.
How many products can one run read?+
Up to 50 per run.
Does it list all sellers on a product?+
The description lists the seller of the page. The tool does not promise an offers table.
Do I need a subscription?+
No. You add credit to a prepaid balance and each run draws it down. Failed runs pay only for the results they delivered, and nothing renews automatically.
