Build a trade show and conference calendar for your sales team
Pull upcoming trade shows, conferences and workshops by topic and country into JSON, to plan which events to attend, sponsor or sell around.
Picking which trade shows to attend, sponsor or book meetings at is a spreadsheet job that is out of date the week after you finish it. Event listings are spread over many pages, and you need them by topic, country and date. Lovely Router reads them from 10times for you. Send a topic and a country, get one JSON object per event, pay per event from a prepaid balance. Call it from a script, a planning sheet or an AI agent with one API key.
Hand it to your AI agent
Copy this prompt into Claude Code, Cursor, Codex or any coding agent. It tells the agent where the docs are and how to use your API key.
Build a trade show and conference calendar for your sales team. Use the Lovely Router data tools: each returns JSON and is billed per result.
- Docs (read first): https://lovelyrouter.com/docs/tools/find.md and https://lovelyrouter.com/docs/tools/run.md
- Plan first: POST https://lovelyrouter.com/v1/tools/suggest with `{"task": "<my task in plain words>"}` (free). It returns the tools to run in order, each with an example `input`, the `input_required` fields, an estimated cost and a ready-made `run` request. Replace the example values with my task's; if a field is unclear, read the tool with GET https://lovelyrouter.com/v1/tools/<id>. To browse instead, POST https://lovelyrouter.com/v1/tools/discover searches the catalog.
- Show me the plan and its estimated cost (`total_est_cost_usd`) before running anything large.
- Run: POST https://lovelyrouter.com/v1/tools/<id>/run with `{"input": {...}, "max_results": N}`. A 200 has the finished run with `items`; a 202 means it is still running, so poll the `poll` path until `status` is `succeeded`, `failed`, `timed_out` or `stopped`.
- Only delivered results are billed. Keep max_results small on the first run, check the output, then scale up.
- If you support MCP, connect https://lovelyrouter.com/mcp instead (Streamable HTTP, same key; https://lovelyrouter.com/docs/tools/mcp.md) and use suggest_tools, get_tool and run_tool.
- Auth: read my API key from the LOVELY_API_KEY environment variable and send it as `Authorization: Bearer $LOVELY_API_KEY`. Never print or commit the key. If it is not set, ask me to create one at https://lovelyrouter.com/app/keys.
- Billing is prepaid: every call is charged to my balance, so test with a small request before running anything large.
- Every docs page is plain Markdown; the full index is https://lovelyrouter.com/llms.txt.

Pick the topic and market
Choose the industry words that match your buyers, a country code or
WWfor worldwide, and an event type: trade show, conference or workshop.Run the tool with a cap
Send them to
POST /v1/tools/10times-events/runwithmaxItemsin the input andmax_resultson the request. The run holds its maximum cost from your balance and returns the events as JSON.Rank and share
Sort by date, group by city, and drop the result into your team's calendar or planning sheet. Re-run each quarter to catch new listings.
Get a list of events with one request
Find trade shows and conferences takes a topic in query and a country code in country. maxItems caps how many events come back, up to 200 per run:
curl https://lovelyrouter.com/v1/tools/10times-events/run \
-H "Authorization: Bearer $LOVELY_API_KEY" \
-H "content-type: application/json" \
-d '{
"input": {
"query": "artificial intelligence",
"country": "US",
"maxItems": 5
},
"max_results": 5
}'Add eventType (all, tradeshow, conference or workshop), or startDate and endDate in YYYY-MM-DD; about the next 90 days are listed. A run still going after 60 seconds returns 202; Run a tool shows how to poll.
What each event holds
| Field group | What you get |
|---|---|
| Identity | Event name, event type and link |
| When | Dates |
| Where | Venue and city |
| Organizer | The company running the event |
Each run returns upcoming listings only, so treat it as a forward calendar rather than a history of past shows.
Recipes
Search the three topics that match your product in your two biggest markets, cap each at 50 events, and rank by city and date so you can fit them into one travel plan.
Run eventType set to tradeshow for your industry, then send the list to your sales team with the dates and the organizer, so reps can request meetings before the show.
Pull conferences by topic, group them by organizer, and see which organizers run several relevant events in the same quarter, which is where a multi-event sponsorship is easier to negotiate.
Set onlineOnly to true, keep country on worldwide, and collect online events to attend without travel.
Run on the first of each month with a startDate and endDate window, diff against last month's results, and post only the new events to Slack.
Prefer plain words? Connect the MCP server and tell Claude Code or Cursor: "Find conferences about cybersecurity in Germany over the next 90 days, set maxItems to 30, and give me a table of name, dates, city and organizer sorted by date."
Pair it with other event and lead sources
A calendar tells you where your buyers will be. These tools tell you who they are and what else is on:
Upcoming trade shows, conferences and workshops from 10times by topic and country: name, dates, venue and city, event type, organizer, link.
Upcoming Eventbrite events for a US city, optional keywords and a date window (or an Eventbrite search link): name, start and end, venue and address, organizer, price range, online or in person, link.
LinkedIn company pages: description, industry, size, headquarters, website, followers.
Local businesses from Google Maps plus the emails, phones and social links found on their websites. Built for local lead lists.
eventbrite-eventscovers US city events, including smaller meetups that trade-show listings miss.linkedin-companylooks up an exhibitor or organizer's company page once you have its name.google-maps-leadsbuilds a list of local businesses around an event city for pre- and post-show outreach.
For turning a company list into outreach, see lead generation.
What you pay
You pay per event: starting a run holds its maximum cost, the per-call fee plus the per-event fee times max_results, and the run settles to what it returned. The rest of the hold goes back to your balance. A run that fails or times out pays only for the events it delivered, and a run refused at the start costs nothing.
Pulling 100 events is billed as 100 events, whether they come from one search or several. There is no subscription and no monthly minimum: top up from $5, and one balance pays for tools and models. The card above shows today's price; pricing lists every tool.
Frequently asked questions
Can I search by topic and country?+
Yes. query is matched against event names and country takes an ISO code such as US or DE, or WW for worldwide. You can also pass a country name in location.
Which event types can I filter by?+
eventType accepts all, tradeshow, conference or workshop.
How far ahead does it look?+
Start and end dates are optional. The tool lists about the next 90 days from the start date you give.
Can I find online-only events?+
Yes, set onlineOnly to true. Online events are listed worldwide rather than under a country, so leave country on WW when you use it.
How many events can one run return?+
Up to 200 events per run, set with maxItems and max_results. For more, start several runs with different topics or countries.
Do I need a subscription?+
No. You add credit to a prepaid balance and each run draws it down. Failed runs pay only for the results they delivered, and nothing renews automatically.
